I'm back in the land of high speed internet and coffee on every corner, a little disoriented by the changes in time zone and perspective, but gradually adjusting again. Not that I really wanted to adjust. I was doing just fine where I was. The simplicity and the chaos of the place suited me. I even enjoyed the heat most of the time. Here in Los Angeles, everyone is clean and dry and has money in their pockets. Even the bums are picky. I don't know how to live here and still keep a hold on reality. It slips away so easily.
But you can't hide out forever, I guess. So here I am. I'll put up a few pictures soon.

Bums CAN be very particular. My cousin has offered food, only to have it rejected. They only wanted money. But, my uncle offered one gentleman a banana and the man took it, smiling and holding it up, saying brightly, "Potassium!!!" He said it again, louder, to make his point.
